Notre Dame Fire Recieves New Rescue

NOTRE DAME FIRE DEPARTMENT (Notre Dame, IN)

      The department with protects the campuses of the University of 
Notre Dame, St. Mary's, and Holy Cross has taken delivery of a new 
rescue squad.  It is a brand new Dodge Durango and is numbered 255.
It serves the campuses as a medical unit as well as a support unit to 
the department's two engines.

Centre Township Recieves New Rescue

CENTRE TOWNSHIP FIRE DEPARTMENT (St. Joseph County, IN)

      161, a new 1999 Chevrolet Suburban, has become one of the newest
pieces of the appratus fleet fo the Centre Township Fire Department.
It serves as a light rescue and is first due on all medicals.  It 
carries an automatic defribulator, oxygen, multi-gas detector, as well
as basic medical and patient packaging supplies.

Ground Breaking!

CLAY TOWNSHIP FIRE DEPARTMENT (St. Joseph County, IN)

     Clay Twp. is added on to their station #2 on Auten Road.  New
sleeping quarters, administrative offices, an expanded kitchen, as well
as a new dispatch center are just some of the features of the addition.

HARRIS TOWNSHIP FIRE DEPARTMENT (St. Joseph County, IN)

     Harris Twp. is building a brand new station at the corner of Bittersweet
and Anderson.  This new station will become station #2, and the 
current station #2 will become station #1 when construction is complete

PENN NORTH FIRE DEPARTMENT (St. Joseph County, IN)

     Penn North has temporarily constructed a pole barn style building
and call it station #2 on Apple Road.  A new station will be 
constructed in the near future but this will hold thier new apparatus 
for now.
